[GM] gear reducer development and application of technology
Modern industrial system almost without exception, including reduction gear means even deep into the daily production of millions of households. Universal gear reducer is composed of key parts of mechanical products, the quality of the gear the pros and cons related to the level of the whole product, gear reducer plant is considered a symbol of industry. According to the famous American expert DWDudley gear reducer views from 1890-1990 Centennial Development gear reducer technical progress can be divided into four periods, each period reducer gear design and manufacture of gear reducer to Characterization.
During 1890 - 1930, GM reducer gear design and manufacture of major advances are: the initial establishment of the reduction gear carrying capacity formula. Cycloid and involute gear reducer be used. The basic types of gear reducer straight gear, helical gear reducer, cone reducer gears and worm drive gear reducer. Invented hobbing machine, slotting machine and grinding machine, and has been widely used.
During 1930 and 1960, GM reducer gear design and manufacture of major advances are: straight teeth, helical, cylindrical gear reducer bearing capacity formula developed.
During 1960 to 1980, General reducer gear design and manufacture of major advances are: previous spur and helical gear reducer bearing capacity formulas have been greatly improved. Basically used in power transmission reduction gear are designed as involute gear reducer.
During 1980 to 1990, General reducer gear design and manufacture of major advances are: reduction gear must consider the contact area Flexible hydrodynamic mold thickness issue pitting the calculation formula, and use it as an important parameter variables calculated.
Since 1990, high-precision gear reducer Hardened more widely used in various fields, especially in large gear grinding cement kiln industry, such as the use of a roll mill has been widely applied Hardened gear reducer.
